Ingredients:  
1 pound butter
2 cups sugar
4 cups flour
2 Tbsp baking powder
2 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 lb candied cherries
1/2 lb candied pineapple
1 lb pecans
7 eggs

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time, beat well after each egg. Sift 3 cups of flour with baking powder and salt. Add to mixture. Mix remaining flour with cherries, pineapple and broken nuts, fold into batter. Add vanilla. Pour into a well greased 10" tube pan. Bake at 250º for 3 hours. Cool cake in pan.
