1 lb fresh broccoli
1 lb fresh cauliflower
2 Tbsp melted butter
1/3 c. fine chopped green onion
1 10oz. can cream of chicken soup
1/2 c milk
1/3 c. grated parmesan cheese
1/3 c. almond slivers (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Wash and trim broccoli and cauliflower into spears and flowerets. Peel part of the heavy broccoli stem too, it is delicious. Steam or cook in lightly salted water until fork tender. While vegies are cooking, make sauce. Over low heat, saute green onions in butter add cream of chicken soup, mix well, and stir in milk and parmesan cheese. Heat slowly, stirring often. Arrange cooked, drained vegies in casserole dish and drizzle with sauce. Top with nuts if you have them or dash on a little more parmesan cheese.
