1 1/2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
3/4 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
1 1/2 tsp salt
3/4 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground cloves
1/2 tsp allspice
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. shortening
1 egg
1 16oz can applesauce
1/2 c. nuts
1 c. raisins

Sift together first 8 ingredients. Add next 4 ingredients and mix for 2 min. Add last 2 ing. and mix for 2 min. Pour into greased and floured 13x9 pan. Bake at 350 for 45-50 min.
