1 1/2 lb ground beef
1/3 cup chopped onion
1 tsp salt
2 - 3 tsp chili powder
1 can (8-oz) tomato sauce
1 can (1-lb) tomatoes
1 can (1-lb) whole kernel corn

1 1/2 cups Pillsbury Hungry Jack Buttermilk or Extra Light Pancake mix
1/2 cup crushed corn chips
1 egg
2 tbsp cooking oil
1/2 cup water

In Dutch oven or electric skillet, brown ground beef and onions, drain. Stir in salt, chili powder, tomato sauce, tomatoes and corn (with liquid). Simmer 10 minutes, stir occasionally. To make dumplings, measure pancake mix by lightly spooning into cup and leveling. In bowl combine pancake mix with corn chips. Add egg, oil and water; mix well. Spoon batter over bubbling meat mixture. Cover; simmer 15 minutes without removing lid. Dumplings will be puffy and dry on top.
