12 c. dry bread crumbs
1 c. chopped onion
1 c. chopped celery
2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
3/4 tsp. poultry seasoning
2 tsp. sage
1/3 c. melted butter
2 - 4 beaten eggs
Broth to moisten

Directions:
Directions:
Cook celery and onion in butter til soft but not brown. Add crumbs and mix thoroughly. Add seasonings, eggs and broth. Pour into 13 x 9 baking dish and brown, uncovered, in 350º oven. For more flavor add drippings from roasted turkey over the top before baking. Remove from oven when dressing moves slightly when shaken.

This is Mom's recipe, but for the past 5 years or so I've been making the dressing at our house and taking it to Mom & Dad's on Thanksgiving. We all enjoy it the next day with leftovers.
