1 3 quart baking dish
1 stick of margarine
2 9 inch pie crust
2 1/3 cup sugar
7 or 8 cups of apples thinly sliced
2 1/3 cups of water
tsp lemon extract
1 tsp cinnamon
3 Tbsp corn starch

Directions:
Directions:
Grease dish and press 1 pie crust on bottom of dish. Bake in oven at 400 until lightly brown, about 5 minutes.

In a large mixing bowl, add margarine, that has been melted, with water, and lemon extract. Blend sugar, cinnamon, and cornstarch together until well mixed. Add sugar mixture with apples to water mixture. Pour into baked pie crust. Cut other pie crust into strips and place over pie. Bake at 300 for 1 hour.
