Personal Notes:
My kids chose to name this "Super Mac" to differentiate from the "boxed macaroni". I had always called it "homemade macaroni", but they didn't think that was good enough! They love this much better than the boxed stuff.

I grew up with this recipe. This is one of the things I became good at making while still at home with my mom. This is how it was always made then. I have changed it though in my own home. Somehow, ever since my pregnancy with Christian, I have not ever been able to eat the cream of celery soup. So, I use always cream of chicken soup instead. And then, cheddar cheese soup seemed to get expensive, so I usually do not buy it any more, either. Nowadays, at my house, this is made with cream of chicken soup and cream of mushroom soup instead of celery and cheddar cheese soups! (We, of course, then HAVE to add grated cheese!)
