1 tsp dry mustard
1 1/2 tbsp flour
2 tsp salt
2 tbsp sugar
Few grains cayenne (optional)
2 egg yolks
2 egg whites
1/3 cup hot vinegar
1 cup milk
2 tbsp melted butter

Directions:
Directions:
Mix dry ingredients. Add beaten egg yolks, hot vinegar, butter and milk a little at a time stirring constantly. Put mixture into double boiler. Cook and stir until thick. Fold in beaten egg whites and cool and serve on potato salad. If mixture starts to curdle, set top of double boiler in cold water and beat with egg beater until smooth.
