whole heads of garlic,paper skin removed, but whole head left intact.
chicken broth, enough to cover as many heads of garlic that you are making about half way.

Cut the tops of each head of garlic. Place in an oven proof dish large enough to hold as many heads as you are preparing. Arrange the garlic heads in the dish, and drizzle with extra virgin olive oil. Add chicken broth to cover about half way. Seal tightly with tin foil, place in a 400º oven and bake for 35-40 minutes. To serve, squeeze individual cloves onto a piece of crusty bread, or directly onto a piece of juicy steak. Dip the bread into the broth for an additional treat.
