2 cups flour
1 Tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon baking powder
3/4 teaspoon salt
2 Tablespoons butter, chilled
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese ( or your favorite cheese)

Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
Cut in butter with a pastry blender or fork.
Stir in cheese until it is coated with flour mixture.
Add milk and stir just until the flour is moist.
Do not over stir!
Spoon into greased muffin tins or muffin papers.
Bake 12-15 minutes or until lightly brown.
