1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup shortening
1 egg
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cups sifted flour
1 tsp soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup quick cooking oatmeal

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together brown sugar, shortening, peanut butter, egg and vanilla. Sift together flour, soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture. Mix well. Stir in oatmeal. Pat firmly into greased 13 x 9" baking pan. Bake at 375 12 - 15 minutes. Cool and frost with this frosting: 2 tbsp oleo, 2 tbsp peanut butter, 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar, dash salt, 2 1/2 tbsp milk.
