1/2 c. flour 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 Tbl. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper
1 egg seperated 1/3 c. milk
1 lb. fresh mushrooms
5 c. corn chex cereal crushed to 1 2/3 c.

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, salt, baking powder & pepper. Beat egg yolk & milk togethor. Blend in dry ingredients. Beat egg white till fluffy, add sugar and beat till stiff, but not to dry. Told into milk mixture. Dip mushrooms in batter, drain, roll in chex crumbs. Drop a few at a time into deep fat fryer (385). Fry till golden brown 1-2 min. turning over. Serve
