1 3/4 c. unsifted all purpose flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cream of tarter
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/3 c. butter, margarine or shortening
3/4 c. buttermilk

Directions:
Directions:
Mix: flour, baking powder, salt, cream of tarter and baking soda together. Cut in butter then add buttermilk. Stir till like piecrust.
Place dough on floured board and knead 20 times. Pat or roll lightly until dough is 1/2" thick, cut into circles, brush with melted butter. Place on ungreaded baking sheet, when done brush again with melted butter
Bake 450º 12 min.
