1 c. butter
1 t. vanilla
c. 10 x sugar
2 c. all purpose flour
c. finely chopped pecans
10x sugar to dust

In a heavy saucepan over low heat, melt butter until light brown. Cool in fridge. Cream browned butter with sugar and vanilla till light & fluffy.
Gradually add flour. Blend then stir in pecans.
Chill several hours.
Shape into 1 balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 20 minutes at 350 F. Remove to wire rack.
Dip in 10x sugar while hot. Re-dip when cool.
Yield: 2 Dozen
