¼ c. soft butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 T. grated orange peel
1 T. milk
1 c. flaked coconut
2/3 c. flour
½ t. salt
½ t. baking powder

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter & sugar until light. Beat in egg, orange rind, and milk. Add coconut and flour sifted with salt & baking powder. Mix only enough to blend. Put in 8” square pan lined with wax paper. Bake at 350º F for 25 minutes. Cut into 16 squares.
Makes 1+ Dozen - tripled recipe makes 2 sheet pans.
