"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain
This recipe for Mesquite Chicken, by Nora Hauck, is from The Wright Family Cookbook,
one of the cookbooks created at FamilyCookbookProject.com. We help
families or individuals create heirloom cookbook treasures.
2 lbs chicken 1 packet of McCormick Grill Mates Mesquite Marinade (it's a little hot) you'll need: 1/4 c water 1/4 c. veg oil
Marinate the chicken for at least 15 min. I've found cooking meats on the lowest setting possible in a covered sauce pan is a great way to do it. & rice is always a great was to round out a meal that's been made with a marinade.
25 minutes cooking
I know it's not really a "recipe," but heads up on good packets to help with dinner is always appreciated by me at least.
