Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 c. rice
1 lb. cube steak, round steak, any beef steak
1 pack of McComick Grill Mates Montreal Steak Marinade
(it calls for 1/4 water, 1/4 cup veg. oil, and 2 T. vinegar, though I only use 1/2 T.)

Directions:
First you want to get your meat marinating. If it hasn't been marinating in the freezer, overnight, or since earlier that day, you want to atleast give it 15 min.s

This is how I learned how to cook rice a yr and 1/2 ago (before I wasn't getting as good results): I put 2 cups of water in a pot with a pat of butter in it, put the lid on and bring it to a boil, while I'm rinsing the cup of rice real well. Then I pour the rice in, stir it up, reduce the heat to almost as low as it can go, put the lid back on & when I check it and the rice has just started sticking to the bottom it's done (the water's gone, and there's not a lot of bubbling going on, or much steam).

After you get the rice going you can throw the meat and all the marinade into a saucepan with a lid on, put it on the lowest heat possible and it will not only be done about the same time as the rice--it will also be tender and have twice the drippings than if you cooked it faster.

It's best served with the meat all cut up in bite-ish size pieces and all that meat and drippings poured over individual servings of rice. It's a wonderful flavor.
