1+1/4 c.raw peanuts
1 T butter
1 c. sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 c. white corn syrup
1 tsp soda
Dash of salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mix peanuts, sugar, syrup and salt. Cook on full power for 5 minutes; stir. Cook 2.5 minutes more on full power. Add butter and vanilla. Cook on full power for 1 more minute. Add soda; stir. Pour out on cookie sheet. Cool, break and store in air tight container.

I have revised this recipe from the Blue cookbook. I have added a little more time and a few more nuts. At the 2.5 minute portion of the cooking I look for a little brown color in the mixture to ensure it is cooked enough.
