2 cups firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 cup water
2 1/2 cups mixed pecan (pieces and halves)
1 tsp. Butter

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar and water in a 2 qt. saucepan. Heat to boiling, sitrring constantly. Stir in pecans. Cook mixture until it reaches the soft boil stage (235 degrees). Remove from heat. Stir in butter. Immediately drop by tablespoonfuls onto waxed paper. Let stand until firm.
