2 cups brown sugar
1 cup shortening
2 eggs, beaten
2 tsp baking powder
2 cups quick oatmeal
2 cups flour
1 tsp soda
1 cup corn flakes
1 1/2 cups salted Spanish peanuts

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour, baking powder and soda. Mix dry ingredients together thoroughly. Mix sugar and shortening, add beaten eggs. Mix well. Stir in dry stuff. Drop on greased cookie sheet by teaspoonsful and bake at 350º 12 - 15 minutes.

This recipe came from Vivian. On the card, she wrote "Good and different." On the back side of the card, she wrote "Cook Hint - Put cookies on foil cut the size of cookie sheet. When cookies are done slide cookies with cooked cookies off and slide another on - only one sheet needed."
