1 1/2 lb. round steak, cut in thin strips
2 Tbsp cooking oil
Salt, pepper & garlic powder to taste
5 Tbsp soy sauce
1 C water
2 green peppers, cut in strips
1 1/2 -2 Tbsp cornstarch
1 tsp. sugar
2 Tbsp vinegar
2 Tbsp cold water
2 tomatoes, cut in chunks

Brown steak in oil. Add seasons, vinegar, soy sauce & 1 C. water. Cover and cook over low heat 1 - 1 1/2 hours. Add green peppers and cook 10 minutes. Blend cornstarch and cold water anad stir into mixture. Add tomatoes and cook 5 -10 minutes. Serve over cooked rice.
