1/2 cup soft shortening 1 1/4 cups sugar 2 eggs 6 tbsp molasses 1 3/4 cups sifted flour 1 tsp soda 1 tsp salt 1 tsp cinnamon 2 cups rolled oats 1/2 cup cut-up nuts 1 cup cut-up raisins
Mix shortening, sugar, eggs and molasses together thoroughly. Sift flour, soda, salt and cinnamon together and stir in. Stir in oats, nuts and raisins. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls about 2" apart on lightly greased baking sheet. Bake until lightly brown. Temp: 400º Time: 8-10 minutes. Makes 5 dozen.
