1 ½ bags of romaine lettuce
1 lb. Bacon fried and crumbled
1 cup grated Swiss cheese
½ cup Parmesan

Juice of 1½ lemons
1-2 cloves of garlic (push w/garlic pusher)

Directions:
Mix lettuce, bacon, Swiss cheese and Parmesan together.

Beat lemon juice, garlic, salt and pepper together while adding 1/3 to ½ cup of canola oil.
(Most of the time I use olive oil instead of canola oil.)

Mix salad dressing with the salad mix. Top salad with 2/3 cup of toasted slivered almonds.

[Justin served a mission in Baltimore, MD. The Mission President’s wife always made this salad on special transfer days or on special occasions for the missionaries. Everyone loves it! Justin and I always refer to it as the “Special Salad.”]
