In 2 cups of boiling salt water, simmer for 10 minutes the following items (do not drain):
2 cups chopped potatoes
½ cup chopped celery
½ cup chopped carrots
¼ cup chopped onion

Make a white sauce of; 2 cups milk, ¼ cup butter, ¼ cup flour. Add the white sauce to the soup and stir.

Stir in ½ pound of Velveeta cheese (cut up) and 1 can of cream style corn (or blend other sweet corn).

Heat through but do not boil.

We got this recipe from a friend of my moms and have enjoyed it numerous times. It is a great meal to take to an ill friend.
