Melt
1/2 cup margarine
Add and mix well
2/3 cup sugar
Add and beat well
2 eggs

In a separate bowl mix and then add to the sugar mixture above
1 cup buttermilk
1/2 tsp soda

Add and blend well
1 cup cornmeal
1 cup flour
1/2 tsp salt

Directions:

Pour into an 8 inch greased pan.
Bake at 350 for 28-30 minutes.
