2/3 cup or plain or butter flavored Crisco
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 cups of flour
1/2 tsp. of soda
1/2 cup of chopped nuts
1 pkg.(6oz.) semi sweet chocolate morsels

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 375ºMix shortening, sugars, egg, and vanilla thoroughly. Stir dry ingredients together, blend in. Mix in nuts and chocolate pieces. Drop dough by teaspoon 2" apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8-10 min, or until delicately brown.
