1 lb. pkg. dry lentils
1/2 onion - copped
2 celery - chopped
3 carrots - sliced
1 can Swanson's chicken broth
4 to 6 cups water
2 ham hocks or ham shanks

Directions:
Directions:
Place ham hocks in the crockpot with 1 can chick broth and 4 to 6 cups water. Cook on high 4 hours. Remove ham hocks.
Rinse lentils.
Skim off fat. Place lentils and vegetables in crockpot. Cook on high 2 hours. Meanwhile cut ham off bones, place in pot.
