2 eggs, beaten
1/2 c buttermilk
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
6 - 8, 1 inch thick pieces of Italian or French bread
1 tbsp butter

Directions:
Directions:
In a large shallow bowl, beat together eggs, buttermilk, vanilla and cinnamon. Dip bread into egg mixture, let soak about 15 seconds on each side. In a large skillet or griddle, melt butter over medium heat and cook bread for about three minutes on each side or until golden brown. Add butter to skillet as needed. Serve warm with your favorite syrup. Add berries on top, if desired.
