4 T maple syrup
1/2 lb. butter
1 c. packed brown sugar
1 small loaf Italian or French Bread cut into 1 inch thick slices
6 eggs
2 c. milk
1 tsp... vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Melt to simmering in saucepan the syrup, butter and brown sugar. Pour into 9x13 inch baking dish. place slices of bread into baking dish in syrup mixture. Beat eggs, milk, vanilla. Pour over bread. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350º for 40-45 minutes.
