1 stick butter, softened
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/4 c. sour cream
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. ripe mashed bananas
1 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped nuts or raisins (optional)

This receipe is great to use up your very ripe bananas.
Cream butter, sugar & add eggs, then add sour cream and baking soda. Stir in bananas. Add flour, baking powder, vanilla & salt. Blend well. Add nuts or raisins, if using. Put into greased 9x5 loaf pan. Bake 350º for 1 hour or until top gets dark brown.
