3 cups self rising flour
1 cup sugar
1 beer at room temperature
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Stir together flour, sugar, cheese. Add beer. Put in greased 9 x5 inch loaf pan. Bake at 350º for 30-35 minutes. Take out of oven and butter top. Bake 10 minutes more.

This is so easy! I think it is comparable to Tastefully Simple beer bread, but much less inexpensive. I serve it warm with chili or soup. Also good when cubed and served as an appetizer with various dips.
