1 lb. hamburger
1/2 cup (or less) chopped onion
1/2 tsp salt
dash of pepper
1 16 oz. can green beans, drained
1 10 3/4 oz. can tomato soup

5 hot cooked medium pototoes
1/2 cup warm milk
1 beaten egg
1/2 cup shredded cheese (American, Velveeta, or Cheddar)

Directions:
Cook meat & onion til meat is lightly browned & onion is tender. Add salt & pepper. Add drained green beans & soup. pour into greased 1 1/2 qt. casserole. Mash potatoes while hot. Add milk & egg. Season with salt & pepper. Spoon in mounds over casserole. Sprinkle potatoes with cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 min.

You can use 4 servings of instant mashed potatoes. Prepare according to pkg directions except reserve the milk. Add enough reserved milk so potatoes are stiff enough to hold shape
