Roll each bacon slice end to end (like a pinwheel).
With a pair of scissors, cut each roll in half so that you have 20 ribbon lengths of bacon.
Wrap one ribbon of bacon around one whole bread stick, going diagonally from end to end. Repeat until you have wrapped 20 bread sticks.
Mix cheese and parsley together in a flat rectangular dish (large enough to roll bread sticks in). Set aside.
Place 6-8 bread sticks on 4-5 paper towels, cover with one more paper towel.
Place in the microwave oven and cook on HI, 2 minutes.
Check to make sure bacon is slightly crisp. If not, continue to cook at 20 second intervals until bacon is crisp. Be careful not to overcook as bread sticks will burn. Repeat process until all bread sticks are cooked.
Remove bread sticks from paper towels while still hot and roll in cheese mixture. Turn bread sticks to cover all sides.
Remove bread sticks and cool on wax paper. Bread sticks will be slightly limp, but will stiffen when cooled.
