6 or 8 pieces cut up chicken
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
2 Tbsp butter
1/4# mushrooms, thinly sliced
1/4 cup water
1 large tomato, peeled, seeded, and finely chopped
4 green onions, thinly sliced
1/2 tsp dry thyme
1/2 cup chicken broth
2 tsp flour
3/4 cup sour cream

Season chicken with salt and pepper. Brown in butter in large skillet, about 10 minutes. Add water, bring to boil, cover and simmer 20 min. Transfer to warm plate. Cook mushrooms, tomato, green onions, and thyme for 3 min. Sprinkle with the flour, stir to mix well, and cook 1 min. Add chicken broth, bring to boil, then remove from heat. Stir in the sour cream and cook about 3 min., over low heat, till thick and bubbly.
Pour over chicken and serve over noodles.
