2c.water
2c.vinegar
1 medium onion
salt & pepper to taste
1 1/2 dozen ginger snaps.(crushed)
6 tbsp. brown sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Cut beef into chunks. add water , vinegar, onion and salt &pepper. Cook til meat is tender. Then add ginger snaps , brown sugar to pot and simmer til thicken.

If the meat is not covered by the liquid than add another cup of water and cup of vinegar. If you add more liquid than you have to add more brown sugar.(3 tbsp. per cup of vinegar) If you add more liquid than add 1/2 dozen ginger snaps per cup so you will have thick gravy.
