1/2 C. BUTTERMILK
1 C. SUGAR
1/3 C. DARK CORN SYRUP
1/3 C. COCOA
DASH OF SALT
1/2 LB. BUTTER, DIVIDED
2 1/2 C. POWDERED SUGAR
1 T. VANILLA

oVER MED. HEAT, COMBINE BUTTERMILK, SUGAR, CORN SYRUP, SALT AND HALF THE BUTTER. BRING TO A BOIL, WHEN THE MIXTURE REACHES SOFT-BALL STAGE, REMOVE FROM HEAT. ADD REMAINING BUTTER, POWDERED SUGAR, AND VANILLA. THIS WILL HAVE A POURING CONSISTENCY!

TO ASSEMBLE CAKE; Cool cake in freezer for at least 30 min. Prepare buttercream icing, then shape into 1" rolls, placing on frozen cake, 1" apart across top of cake. Return to freezer for at least 15 min.
apply cooled fudge frosting to top of cake, covering buttercream rolls completely. Return to freezer for several min. to set frosting.
