1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup shortening
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
1 large egg
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 6 oz. pkg. white chocolate chips
1 7 oz. jar macadamia nuts coarsley chopped( I use Mauna Loa brand)

Directions:
Directions:
Beat butter and shortening until creamy. Add sugars and beat well. Add egg and vanilla, beat. Combine flour, baking soda and salt, gradually stir in well. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts.

Bake on a lightly greased cookie sheet ( I use parchment paper) on 350º for 8 - 10 minutes.
