2 c. flour
2 t. baking powder
2 t. cinnamon
1/2 t. nutmeg
1 1/2 c. shortening
2 c. brown sugar
4 eggs
2/3 c. milk
2 c. raisins
6 c. rolled oats
12 oz bag chocolate chips (3 c. I prefer semi-sweet)

Directions:

Mix dry ingredients into bowl. Add shortening, brown sugar, eggs, and 1/2 the milk. Beat until smooth. Fold in remaining milk, raisins, oats, and chips. Greased cookie sheet, at 350 for 11-12 min.s
