1 box of German Chocolate cake mix
3/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
2/3 cup evaporated milk
1 cup chopped pecans
1 bag of caramels
1 12 oz pkg of chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. Lightly spray 13x9 pan with Pam.

Mix cake mix, melted butter, 1/3 C. of the evaporated milk, and chopped peanuts. Put 1/2 of the batter in prepared 13x9 pan. Bake in preheated oven for 6 minutes.

Melt caramels, stir in remaining 1/3 C. evaporated milk.

Spread package of chocolate chips over baked crust. Top with melted caramel mixture. Top this with remaining batter. Return to oven and bake for an additional 18 minutes.

Cool and cut into squares. .
