4 strips of bacon, chopped
1 small onion, chopped
1 tbsp. butter
2 carrots, shredded
4 medium potatoes, pared and diced
4 tbsp. butter
4 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
White pepper
4 c. milk
2 cans of clams
Salt and pepper
Seafood seasoning
Parsley flakes

Directions:
Directions:
Brown bacon and onion together in 1 tbsp. of butter. Set aside. Boil potatoes and carrots in water until tender. Drain. Blend butter, flour salt and white pepper; add milk all at once. Cook quickly, stirring constantly until mixture thickens and bubbles. Remove from heat. Combine bacon mixture, cooked vegetables, milk mixture and clams; season to taste with salt, pepper and seafood seasoning. Heat through. Add parsley flakes.
