5 cans Lacy whole water chestnuts 1 c. pineapple juice 1/4 c. soy sauce 1/2 c. brown sugar 2 lb. bacon
Drain water chestnuts - mix pineapple juice, soy sauce and brown sugar - marinade water chestnuts in mixture for an hour. To assemble: cut each bacon slice into 3 pieces, wrap around each water chestnut and secure with a toothpick. Bake on a large cookie sheet, lined with foil, at 350º for 30 minutes - turn each after 15 minutes
