Filling: 7 Granny Smith apples, sliced
1 cup of sugar mixed with 2 TBS. flour, 1/2 tsp cinnamon, 1/2 tsp nutmeg, 1 TBS lemon juice, 1TBS butter cut into small pieces
Crust: 2 cups flour
1 tsp. salt
3/4 cup crisco
1/4 cup water

Directions:
Directions:
For Crust: Mix ingredients together to make a dough, add more water if needed, roll out on floured
surface and place in pie plate.
For Filling: Mix apples with sugar and spices and place into pie shell, top with lemon juice and butter
then cover with top pie crust. Bake at 425 for 35 min. or until golden brown.
