cup oil
1 c. sugar
1 egg
4 TBLS molasses
2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. baking powder
tsp. salt
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. cinnamon
tsp. cloves
2 c. flour

Cream oil and sugar. Add egg and molasses and mix well. Sift flour soda, baking powder, salt and spices together. Mix well with creamed mixture.
Roll dough into walnut size balls and dip into sugar.

Bake at 325 degrees for 10 minutes.
