1 c Crisco or butter (or 1/2 and 1/2 of each)
1 1/2 c sugar
2 eggs
2 3/4 c unsifted flour
2 t cream of tartar
1 t baking soda
1/4 t salt
2 T sugar
2 t cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Heat over to 400º. Mix shortening, sugar and eggs, quite fluffy. Sift together flour, cream of tartar, baking soda & salt and stir into egg mixture. Form dough into balls about the size of a walnut. Roll balls in the mixture of cinnamon & sugar. Place about 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes.
