6 slices of bacon (crisp and crumbled) 4 medium sized backed potatoes or 1 pkg. bacon bits (not Bacos) or 4 cans diced white potatoes 1 can cream of chicken soup 1 c. chicken broth 1 c. half and half Garlic powder 1/2 c. cheddar cheese Sour cream Onion, optional
Simmer the diced potatoes, can of chicken soup, cup of chicken broth, cup of half and half, garlic powder (to taste) until hot. DO NOT BOIL!! Ladle soup into a bowl, then top with sour cream, bacon bits, onion, and whatever else you like on a baked potato and enjoy "drinking" your baked potato.
