1 lb. bulky spicy sausage
4 c. baking mix (such as Bisquick)
1 c. milk
1/2 c. water
1 egg beaten to blend
2 Tbsp. sugar
5 oz. sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 425º. Line baking cups with muffin liners or coat with nonstick cooking spray.
Cook sausage in a skillet over medium heat, stirring frequently, until browned and thoroughly cooked. Drain. Combine baking mix, milk, water , egg and sugar . Mix with a for for about 30 seconds or until blended. Fold sausage and cheese. Fill muffin c. 2/3 full. Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from pans. Cool slightly before serving.
