1/2 c. margarine.
1 c. sugar.
1 well beaten egg.
1 c. unsweetened apple sauce.
1 tsp. baking soda mixed with applesauce.
2 c. sifted flour.
1/2 tsp. salt.
1/2 tsp. cinnamon.
1/2 tsp. nutmeg.
1/2 tsp. cloves.
1 c. chopped nuts.
1 c. chopped raisins.

Drop by tsp. full on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 12 or 15 minutes.
