Ingredients:  
1 c shortening
2 c brown sugar
2 eggs + 2 egg yolks
1/2 tsp salt
1 c cocoa
1 c sour or sweet milk
2 c sugar
4 c flour
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1 c hot water

Filling:
2 egg whites
2 tsp vanilla
4 tsp flour
4 c + 2 T 10x sugar
4 T milk
11/2 c butter

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 400
Cream shortening and brown sugar.
Add other ingredients
Drop by teaspoon on cookie sheet
Bake 10 minutes and cool
For filling, beat egg whites, vanilla, flour, milk, butter and 2 T 10x sugar. Add remaining 10x sugar
For pies, use 2 cookies and place filling between putting flat sides together.
