1 Package Pepperidge Farm Herb Seasoned Breadcrumbs
1 slice stale bread
Chicken Broth
2 stalks sliced celery
1 medium sliced onion
1 Stick of Butter
Ground Sage (to taste)
1 beaten egg
salt
pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Crumble Stale Bread with Seasoned Breadcrumbs
Saute celery and onion in Butter
Grease 13 x 9 Casserole
mix dry ingredients with sauted celery and onion
Add enough Chicken Broth to moisten
season to taste with Sage, Salt and Pepper
add beaten egg

Bake in 350 oven for approx. 30 minutes

I think Mama must have added more egg and cooked longer--to this day I've never had dressing
"squares" anywhere else!! I make mine a little more on the moist side.
