Cranberry Nut Bread Recipe

4c. all-purpose flour
3 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. orange juice
Grated orange peel from 2 oranges
2 c. raw cranberries
2c. broken walnut pieces

Sift together dry ingredients. In mixing bowl, cream shortening and add sugar until light and fluffy. Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with combine orange juice and orange peel, beginning and end with dry ingredients. Mix well after each addition.

Fold in whole cranberries and nuts pour into 2 (9" x 5") loaf pans. Bake in preheated oven for 350 1 hour or until center comes out clean. This freezes well.
